CEDESOCIAL is a secular foundation engaged in the social and community development of the Caribbean region of Colombia. It implements prevention programmes, projects, and services directed at children, youth, women, and families with a focus on gender as well as the promotion and defense of human, sexual, and reproductive rights.
By 2018, the CEDESOCIAL Foundation aims to be a leading and certified organization, recognized in the prevention and promotion of sexual and reproductive rights and the comprehensive care of children, youth and women as well as serving as a benchmark for the consolidation of analytical information regarding sustainable development in the Caribbean region of Colombia.
The CEDESOCIAL Foundation takes part in ethical, aesthetic, and political actions that are emancipatory and promote freedom for and autonomy of individuals and groups in adverse situations that affect their quality of life and limit the opportunities available to them: TRANSPARENCY, EQUALITY, COOPERATION, INCLUSION, RESPECT FOR DIFFERENCE.
